Job requirements

What you should ideally bring along:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional for the pet food ingredients industry to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Pet Food. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office).

In this key position, you will be in charge of business development and increase our existing business in these regions:

  •         DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland)

  •         BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)

  •         South Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy)

  •         France

  •         United Kingdom

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new opportunities in the pet food ingredients sector

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance the customer experience

  • Work closely with various internal teams to execute strategies.

  • Represent Grainli® at networking events like trade shows, conferences and customer events

  • Create and maintain a system for up-to-date market data in your area

  • Drive the commercial strategy of the department

Your Profile:

  • You have an existing network of European Pet food customers

  • More than 3 years of experience in a relevant international commercial role in pet food ingredients (B2B)

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German

  • Strong sales skills and a “making the deal” mentality

  • Strong sales argumentation and focus on resolving customer needs

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture

  • Team player and a transparent communicator

  • Proactive in managing responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities

  • Entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to take initiative
